General Assistance
The General Assistance Office will be open by appointment only. An application may be picked up at the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours. The application must be filled out and signed before meeting with the GA Administrator. Also be prepared to show proof of income (pay stubs, Social Security/disability, unemployment, etc.) for everyone in the household and receipts of how all income was spent (heating, electricity, rent, food, prescriptions, telephone, cable, internet, pet expenses, alcohol and tobacco expenses, etc.) If you prefer you may download and print the application located here.
